HYPE 100 is bringing HIV-positive youth from around the world to a free week in Rio de Janeiro — a fully covered stay at an off-site hotel near the conference venue, a free buffet dinner every night, and evening programming built for connection: icebreakers, a cultural pageant, karaoke, and a dance, all under one roof. It's the first program like it at an International AIDS Conference.
The HIV response is at a breaking point — funding cuts, shrinking programs, a sector under real strain. The people who will carry it forward are the ones living it. HYPE 100 exists to put HIV-positive youth from every corner of the world in the same room, at the same tables, building relationships that outlast a single conference — because the solutions to this crisis won't come from any one country. They'll come from young leaders reaching across borders, now more than ever.
HYPE 100 is modeled on HYPE's own programming in Ontario — the only program of its kind in North America, built by and for HIV-positive youth. This is that same spirit, taken international for the first time.
Open to HIV-positive youth ages 18–32. Delivered entirely in English.
